Hannah Lovatt is a Lecturer at the School of Education, University of Bolton. She teaches on the BA (Hons) Education and Learning degree and serves as a course tutor for Initial Teacher Education 14+ programmes, while also acting as a personal tutor and research supervisor at undergraduate and Masters levels.

Her research interests focus on neurodiversity, inclusive pedagogical practices, and teacher education. She is actively pursuing an Educational Doctorate to investigate experiences of neurodiverse trainee teachers and improve sector-wide support policies.

With extensive experience in autism-specific alternative provision and teaching diverse learners across primary, secondary, and further education sectors, she combines consultancy work in SEND organization with academic leadership in inclusive practice development. Her current research aims to inform systemic improvements in teacher training frameworks and sectoral policies for neurodiverse educators.
