Hannah Kistler is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University, focusing on improving teacher quality, diversity, recruitment, and retention in schools serving historically marginalized students. She combines rigorous quantitative methods with a practitioner's perspective, having previously worked as a middle school teacher in California’s public schools.
Education: PhD in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University, MA in Teaching from Marian University, and BA in Psychology from Smith College. Her research emphasizes evidence-based solutions to address systemic inequities in education, particularly in Rhode Island through collaboration with stakeholders.
