Emily Kalejs Qazilbash is a Professor of the Practice of Education at Brown University, a Faculty Affiliate at the Annenberg Institute, and an engaged scholar with the Swearer Center (2025–present) and Sheridan Center (2022–2025). She holds a BA from the University of Virginia and EdM/EdD degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research focuses on policies enhancing teacher/principal effectiveness and diversity in K-12 urban districts.
Research interests center on:

- Impact of organizational behavior on schools
