Hannah Hall is a part-time Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures, University of Strathclyde. Her work focuses on mechanisms to fulfill the autonomy rights of marginalized populations, particularly in humanitarian contexts, and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals. She holds a PhD from the University of Southampton, funded by the ESRC South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership, exploring contraceptive autonomy for Venezuelan adolescent migrant girls in Colombia. Her interdisciplinary research bridges reproductive justice, human rights, and health inequalities.
Her research interests include international normative frameworks, service delivery improvements, and children’s well-being in alternative care. Notable contributions include a systematic review on well-being measures for care-experienced children and critical analyses of reproductive health access for migrant populations.
Collaborations include projects such as the Redressing Gendered Health Inequalities of Displaced Women and Girls in Central and South America (ReGHID). She emphasizes participatory approaches, ensuring children’s voices shape policy and practice.
