Hannah Altmann is an Assistant Professor at Dakota State University, affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from North Dakota State University (2015) and a B.S. in Mathematics Education from Minnesota State University - Moorhead (2009). Her research focuses on advanced algebraic topics, including Commutative Algebra, Homological Algebra, Semidualizing Modules, and Tensor Decomposition. Altmann has been recognized for her teaching with the 2013 NDSU Mathematics Department Teaching Award.
