Hanna Vik Furuseth is a Research Fellow at the Department of Private Law, University of Oslo. She specializes in EU/EEA law, labour law, and international maritime law. Her doctoral research focuses on the intersection of wage regulations and free movement principles in the transport sector, particularly maritime contexts.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Law, University of Oslo (with exchange semester at University of Strasbourg)
- Bachelor’s degree in History, University of Oslo
Research Interests: Her work examines legal frameworks governing wage/working conditions, free movement of services under EU/EEA law, and maritime jurisdictional challenges. She analyzes how national regulations interact with international trade and labor standards in transport sectors.

- Leading PhD project: "Equal pay for equal work in the same place – about the relationship between regulation of wage and working conditions and free movement in the transport sector"
- Member of Labour Law Group and Research Group on International Law
