Hana Widerman is a poet and MFA student at Cornell University's Department of Literatures in English, where she also teaches courses such as ENGL 1160 (FWS: Intersections: Race, Writing, and Power) and ENGL 2800 (Creative Writing). She holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from Princeton University. Widerman’s poetry explores themes of identity, race, and cultural heritage, reflecting her Japanese-American background. Her work has been published in The Threepenny Review, The Journal, The Washington Square Review, and others, with additional pieces forthcoming.
