Hamada Elfarargy is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at South Dakota State University (SDSU), affiliated with the School of Education, Counseling and Human Development (SECHD). He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University (TAMU), where he was a distinguished honor graduate. Prior to SDSU, he served as a postdoctoral research associate and project coordinator at TAMU’s Education Leadership Research Center, focusing on federally funded initiatives for principal preparation and school improvement. With nearly 20 years of experience as a teacher and school administrator in Egypt, he led the first STEM-focused high school for gifted students in Egypt and the Middle East. His research emphasizes principalship, instructional leadership, STEM education, and leadership development in high-needs schools.

Research Interests: Dr. Elfarargy’s work centers on principal preparation programs, instructional leadership practices, teacher mentoring, and STEM education innovation.
