Dr. Hajar Aman Key Yekani is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Heriot-Watt University's Dubai campus, affiliated with the School of Social Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Shiraz University, Iran, and has been with Heriot-Watt since 2019.
Her research focuses on two primary areas: the psychology of typefaces and implicit social cognition. In typography, she explores how typefaces influence cognitive and emotional responses, while in social cognition, she investigates unconscious biases using Implicit Association Tests (IAT).
