Gwendolin Sajons

Gwendolin Sajons is an Assistant Professor of Management and Research Methods at ESCP Business School's Berlin Campus within the Work & Human Relations department. She teaches Decision Making in the Bachelor Program, Research Methods in Specialized Master Programs, and Quantitative Methods and Experimental Design in the Ph.D. Program.

Her educational background includes:

Dr. Sajons' research focuses on empirical methods, particularly experimental design and estimation techniques, with applications to decision making, leadership, and diversity. Her work addresses methodological challenges in organizational research and examines statistical discrimination against minority and underrepresented groups. She advocates for moving beyond traditional questionnaire-based approaches to study actual behaviors and psychological states in organizational contexts.

Her publication record demonstrates consistent expertise in methodological rigor within leadership and discrimination research. She has made significant contributions to understanding statistical discrimination mechanisms, instrumental variables estimation, and advancing organizational research methodology beyond conventional questionnaire approaches toward direct behavioral observation.

Dr. Sajons currently serves as Associate Editor and Method Advisor at The Leadership Quarterly, highlighting her recognized expertise in research methodology within leadership studies.

Prior to joining ESCP, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Basel and a Visiting Researcher at the University of Lausanne, building her expertise in experimental methods and organizational behavior.
