Guy Rubinstein is an S.J.D. (Doctor of Juridical Science) candidate and Clark Byse Fellow at Harvard Law School. His research focuses on the American criminal justice system, particularly the interplay between constitutional rights and remedies for their violation. He examines how judicial, prosecutorial, and policing motivations influence adherence to constitutional standards. His work also engages with critical approaches to criminal justice, including penal abolitionism and minimalism, as well as anticorruption law and policy.
Prior to his graduate studies, Rubinstein served as a law clerk and senior law clerk to Justice Meni Mazuz of the Supreme Court of Israel. He holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law. His publications appear in leading law reviews such as the Washington University Law Review, Boston College Law Review, and Wisconsin Law Review.
Rubinstein’s academic contributions reflect a commitment to interdisciplinary legal scholarship, blending doctrinal analysis with critical theory to address systemic challenges in criminal justice and governance.
