Award-Winning Professor and Digital Health Leader
Professor Guy Paré is a Full Professor in the Department of Information Technologies at HEC Montréal, where he also holds the Research Chair in Digital Health and serves as Associate Director of the Health Cluster (Pôle Santé). He has been a faculty member since 1994, with a PhD from Florida International University (Business Administration) and a MSc from HEC Montréal. His research focuses on healthcare IT, telemedicine, and digital health innovation, with over 130 peer-reviewed articles and an h-index of 53. His work has influenced policy and practice, including major investments in telecare by Quebec’s health ministry.

Paré’s work emphasizes translating IT solutions into practical healthcare improvements, such as telemonitoring systems for chronic disease management and AI integration in medical practice. His studies on home telecare economics led to policy changes in Quebec. He also evaluates digital wellness programs and AI adoption barriers in healthcare.
