Dr. Guy Leclerc is an interventional cardiologist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist affiliated with the Université de Montréal (UdeM) and the Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal (CHUM). He completed his MD in 1983 and cardiology specialization in 1989 from UdeM's Faculty of Medicine. His career spans academic research, medical innovation, and business leadership, including heading CHUM's Department of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery and founding companies like Angiogène and AccelLab. He has pioneered translational research in medical devices such as stents, valves, and pacemakers.
