Gustav Kalm is an Assistant Professor at Sciences Po's Law School, affiliated with its Research Center. Holding a PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from Columbia University (2023) and a legal degree from Sciences Po (2014), his work bridges legal anthropology, international economics, and global justice.

Research Interests focus on how legal frameworks shape global economic power structures and inequalities. His doctoral work analyzed foreign investment laws' impact on statehood through ethnographic studies of Parisian lawyers and Guinean mining disputes. Current projects explore tax professionals' conceptions of planetary justice and climate policy.
Additional Contributions include studies on visual rhetoric in legal bureaucracy, cultural/political commentary in Estonian media, and collaborations with artists and curators.
