Guogui Huang is an early-career researcher in demography and population health at Macquarie University, holding a dual PhD from Peking University and Macquarie University (2020). He currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research within the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, and previously held a Research Fellowship at the Centre for Workforce Futures (2019-2021).

Huang has secured over $1.5M in research funding, including a project optimizing pharmacist-led medication reviews in aged care. He has also contributed to impactful studies such as the decomposition of healthy life expectancy differences between migrants and natives in Australia and the global analysis of pandemic impacts on life expectancy.
