Gundula Glowka

Gundula Glowka is a Lecturer at MCI University of Applied Sciences and a PhD candidate at Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship education, family business management, risk management, and sustainable innovation in SMEs. She holds a Magistra degree in International Economics from the same university (2010–2017).

Her work explores risk perception in family enterprises, resilience frameworks for SME owners, and the impact of generational dynamics on strategic decision-making. She has extensively published in journals like Risk Management and Corporate Governance, with a particular emphasis on tourism family firms and enterprise risk management.

Glowka advises numerous Bachelor and Master theses on topics ranging from AI in marketing to sustainability in family businesses. She actively participates in international conferences such as EuroCHRIE and RENT, contributing to entrepreneurship education and family firm resilience.
