Desiree Wieser

Dr. Desiree Wieser serves as an Assistant Professor at MCI The Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck, Austria, specializing in Nonprofit, Social & Health Management. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Innsbruck (2015-2022) and has conducted research at Stockholm Business School and the University of Siena. Her academic roles include Visiting Scholar at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (2024) and adjunct positions in entrepreneurship education across multiple EU projects like PIETE and EICAA.

Her research focuses on family business sustainability, responsible management, and innovation in education. Notable awards include the 2025 EURAM Sustainability Paper Award for transgenerational studies in Japanese and Austrian family firms.
