Jolanda Baur is a Lecturer and Research Assistant at MCI Management Center Innsbruck since 2008, specializing in project-based learning and governance. She coordinates the Bachelor's programs in Nonprofit, Social & Health Care Management and the Master's program in International Health Care Management. Her research focuses on good governance, public sector communication, and healthcare management challenges. She has received the Ars Docendi Recognition Award for her innovative teaching in the SDG Practical Project Semester (2022).
Education includes a Master's in International Business Administration from Leopold-Franzens University Innsbruck and an exchange year at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has trained municipal staff in Russia on Good Governance principles and lectured at the University of Economics Prague on public sector communication.
Her work bridges academic teaching with practical research, supervising over 40 student projects addressing topics like healthcare workforce shortages, community health strategies, and digital health literacy. She frequently presents at conferences on topics such as rural healthcare challenges and sustainable development in education.
Key achievements include developing project-based curricula embedding UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and advocating for agile management practices in online learning environments. Her research often addresses systemic issues in healthcare financing, intercultural management, and health equity.
