Gulab Zode

Gulab Zode is a Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine, specializing in Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. His research focuses on myocilin mutations in primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), investigating how endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and trabecular meshwork dysfunction contribute to disease progression. He has pioneered studies on topical PBA treatment to reduce intraocular pressure in mouse models.
