Mark Rosenbaum is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the UCI School of Law, specializing in education equity, civil rights, and public interest litigation. He has been recognized as one of the Top Lawyers of the Decade (Daily Journal, 2021) for landmark cases such as securing $1 billion for underserved California schools (Williams v. California) and redistricting Los Angeles County to end discriminatory practices (Garza v. Board of Supervisors). Rosenbaum previously served as Chief Counsel and Legal Director at the ACLU of Southern California and currently directs the Public Counsel Opportunity Under Law to combat economic injustice.
His teaching at UCI Law includes courses like Constitutional Analysis, Education Equity Litigation, and Supreme Court Practice. He has also taught at UCLA, USC, Loyola Law Schools, and the Peking School of Transnational Law. Rosenbaum’s awards include the 2016 UCI Law Professor of the Year and recognition from California Lawyer Magazine and the Daily Journal as a top legal influencer.

His advocacy extends to cases like the DACA litigation and securing literacy funding for Detroit schools.
