Guillaume Combet is an Associate Professor at the University of Delaware with concurrent teaching appointments at the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Music Preparatory Division. A distinguished violinist and chamber musician, he maintains an active international performance career across major orchestras and ensembles in Paris, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

- Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris: Premier Prix (First Prize) in Violin and Chamber Music under Gérard Poulet and Sylvie Gazeau
- The Juilliard School: Advanced Certificate in Violin Performance under Joel Smirnoff, Robert Mann, and William Lincer
Artistic Specialization: Professor Combet's work centers on violin performance, chamber music interpretation, and orchestral leadership. He is particularly renowned for his expertise in French violin repertoire and contemporary new music projects. His pedagogical approach integrates technical mastery with expressive depth, reflecting decades of professional performance experience.
Performance Highlights: As former concertmaster of the Chicago Civic Orchestra under Barenboim and Boulez, he has performed as soloist with the Orchestre Symphonique de Tours and toured internationally with Les Virtuoses de France. His orchestral collaborations include the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Orchestra de l’Opéra de Paris Bastille, and Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. He is founding violinist of the Carlock-Combet Duo, celebrating its fifth year of collaboration.
