Grégoire Webber

Grégoire Webber is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Queen's University, and holds the Canada Research Chair in Public Law and Philosophy of Law. Previously, he was a Senior Lecturer in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He earned his BCL and LLB from McGill University and a DPhil in Law from the University of Oxford as a Trudeau Scholar.

His research focuses on public law, philosophy of law, and constitutional policy, with expertise in human rights, legal advocacy, and comparative constitutional law. His career bridges academia and public policy, including senior advisory roles at the Privy Council Office and co-founding the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute to provide free advocacy support to counsel appearing before Canada’s Supreme Court.
