Grégoire Webber

Grégoire Webber is a Visiting Professor at the LSE Law School and Canada Research Chair in Public Law and Philosophy of Law at Queen's University (Canada). Previously an Associate Professor at LSE until 2014, he holds a doctorate in law from the University of Oxford and dual bachelor's degrees in civil and common law from McGill University.

His expertise spans public law, legal philosophy, and constitutional policy. He has advised the Canadian government on electoral and parliamentary reform during his tenure at the Privy Council Office. Additionally, he co-founded the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute, supports counsel appearing before Canada's Supreme Court, and is a qualified barrister and solicitor with the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Prior professional highlights include clerkships for Quebec Court of Appeal Justice André Rochon and Supreme Court of Canada Justice Ian Binnie, as well as visiting professorships at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II).

He remains engaged in policy analysis, legal education, and transnational legal practice.
