Gregor Markl

Gregor Markl is a W3-Professor (Chair) of Petrology at the Institute of Geosciences within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Tübingen, Germany. He has held this position since 2005 after serving as a C3-Professor from 1999-2005, and previously as a Lecturer at the University of Freiburg. He is an active member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina since 2007 and served as President of the Deutsche Mineralogische Gesellschaft (2005-2006).
