Gregg M. Janowski

Gregg M. Janowski is a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Programs at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University (1988), following a postdoctoral appointment at NIST. His roles include overseeing accreditation and assessment at UAB, serving as SACSCOC Liaison, and leading program evaluations for ABET. His research focuses on dental materials, materials processing, and engineering education innovation.
