Greg Slawson serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music at The College of Wooster, teaching Jazz Piano, Improvisation, and Music Technology. He manages the Slawson and Lee Piano Studio with his wife, Candice Lee, instructing over 60 students weekly. At Wooster, he teaches classical piano, jazz theory, and electronic music production, while maintaining roles in technical support for the Music Department’s labs and recordings.
Education includes a BA in Music and Psychology from Wittenberg University and an MM in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
His research interests span jazz performance, music technology applications, and interdisciplinary creative practices. He has composed works for renowned artists like Arnold Steinhardt and the Dayton Jazz Orchestra, blending chamber music, jazz, and electronic elements.
Performance highlights include international tours with the world/jazz quartet Kassaba (2002–2008) and the release of their album Dark Eye, broadcast across 125+ global stations.
He actively creates educational content about creativity, RV travel, and remote work, leveraging technology to enhance artistic and professional development.
