معرفی
Greg Gerbi is an Assistant Professor of Oceanography at the University of Maine's School of Marine Sciences. He is affiliated with the Darling Marine Center and the Marine Culture Lab. His research focuses on physical oceanography in coastal regions, emphasizing human-interacted ocean areas like the surface and coasts. Key interests include upper ocean dynamics, wind-wave interactions, Gulf of Maine physical processes, and larval transport on continental shelves.
Education: Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008).
Research explores three main areas: (1) near-surface ocean physics, (2) Gulf of Maine dynamics, and (3) coastal material transport. He welcomes graduate students in physical oceanography.
