Andrew Goode is a Postdoc Research Scientist at the University of Maine's School of Marine Sciences, affiliated since 2012. He holds a B.S. (2016) and Ph.D. in Oceanography (2021) from the same institution. His research focuses on climate change impacts on lobster populations, fisheries management, and marine ecosystems. He leads the American Lobster Settlement Index and collaborates with Ready Seafood on larval lobster monitoring. He also serves on the Maine Climate Council's Scientific and Technical Subcommittee.

Research Interests: Climate change effects on marine species, fisheries sustainability, hydrographic variability, and ecological forecasting. His work integrates field studies, modeling, and stakeholder collaboration to address coastal community resilience.
Labs/Teams: Brady Lab, Darling Marine Center, and multidisciplinary international teams. He previously worked under Dr. Rick Wahle and Dr. Damian Brady.
Grants/Advising: Secured postdoctoral funding via grant proposals. Advised undergraduate courses as a teaching assistant, including Semester by the Sea at the Darling Marine Center.
