Gabrielle Hillyer is a Researcher affiliated with the School of Marine Sciences at the University of Maine, advised by Dr. Damian Brady. She holds an M.S. in Oceanography and Marine Policy (2020) from the University of Maine, and a B.A. in Marine Sciences from Boston University. Her research focuses on improving water quality understanding in the Gulf of Maine, particularly through particle tracking models to identify pollution sources and hydrodynamic flushing effects in estuarine systems.
Her work emphasizes stakeholder engagement and applied research to support coastal resource management. She has contributed to studies on bacterial transport dynamics in shellfish industries, published in Estuaries and Coasts.
