Professor Greg Fox is a clinical academic and researcher at the University of Sydney, specializing in respiratory medicine and tuberculosis (TB) control. He holds positions as Director of the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre and the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in TB, and is a Research Leader at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. His work focuses on TB epidemiology, clinical trials, and digital health interventions in resource-limited settings, particularly Vietnam. He leads major trials like the ACT2 and ACT3 TB screening studies, published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Professor Fox’s research spans TB prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and policy translation, with collaborations in Canada, the US, and Vietnam. He has received numerous awards, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians’ International Medal (2021), and has authored over 135 peer-reviewed articles. His teaching includes clinical trial design and drug-resistant TB management within the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
