Grant Anderson, PhD is an Associate Professor and Department Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Minnesota. He also serves as Faculty for the PhD Program in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics.

Research Interests span thyroid hormone biology, brain development, blood-brain barrier dynamics, drug transport/metabolism, lipid metabolism, iron deficiency, and autophagy in neurologic disease. His work explores how perinatal nutrient deficiencies interact with thyroid signaling in neurodevelopment.
