معرفی
Graham Begg is an Adjunct Professor at Macquarie University's School of Natural Sciences, affiliated with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Core to Crust Fluid Systems and the GEMOC National Key Centre. His research focuses on mantle dynamics, lithosphere evolution, and ore deposit formation, with a particular emphasis on isotopic studies and tectonic processes.
Research interests include the geochemical evolution of ancient continental crust, cratonic stability, and the interplay between magmatism and mineral systems. Recent work has explored African lithospheric structures, global Hf-Nd isotope patterns, and Ni-Cu-PGE ore genesis.
Begg contributed to a major 2011–2014 project investigating Neoarchean to Paleoproterozoic terranes, examining mineral system distribution and lithospheric evolution. His collaborative projects span international geoscientific networks, addressing topics like plume-subduction interactions and supercontinent reconstructions.
Publications span over three decades, with significant contributions to journals like Chemical Geology and Nature Geoscience. His work is widely cited, reflecting impact in mantle and crustal evolution studies.
