Dr Graeme Macdonald is a Full Professor at the University of Warwick's Faculty of Arts, specializing in English and Comparative Literary Studies. He serves as convenor of the Environmental Humanities Masters program and leads the university's Spotlight on Sustainability initiative.

- Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) from Warwick
His research spans Energy Humanities, Petrocultures, and Environmental Humanities, focusing on climate narratives, resource extraction in global literature, and post-fossil futures. He contributes to projects like Climaginaries and collaborates with artist Paul Lemmon on the Warwick Transformations Project.
His publications include Combined and Uneven Development (2015) and articles in Science Fiction Studies and Journal of Postcolonial Writing. He led the Eutopia Connected Community project (2024/25) and received the SFRA Pioneer Award (2015).
