Graciela Laura Kaminsky is a Professor of Economics and International Affairs at George Washington University and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT and has held positions at the University of California, San Diego, and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Her research focuses on macroeconomics, international finance, and monetary policy, with particular attention to financial globalization, currency crises, and contagion effects. She has served as a consultant to institutions like the IMF and World Bank, and has been a Visiting Scholar at the Bank of Japan, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and others.
