Ali Uppal

Ali Uppal is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School, specializing in monetary economics, financial intermediation, and macrofinance. He holds a PhD from UC San Diego, an MA from Yale, and a BSc from LSE. His research focuses on interactions between monetary policy, financial stability, and the real economy. Prior roles include positions at the UK Treasury, Bank of England, IMF, and Federal Reserve Board.
