Dr. Grace O'Rourke is a Senior Lecturer of Strategy and Sustainability at the University of Greenwich Business School. She holds a PhD from University College Cork and is completing a PGCHE with FHEA accreditation. Her research integrates environmental sustainability, ethics, and critical marketing, with recent extensions to place management and urban development collaborations with London councils.
Her academic leadership includes roles as Associate Head of Division and Postgraduate Course Director. Teaching spans Business Ethics, Strategy, Research Methods, and Consumer Behavior at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Research focuses on three interconnected domains:
- Sustainable consumption and production patterns
- Ethical frameworks in business education
- Urban sustainability through place-making initiatives
Recent publications examine technology-enabled learning transformations in higher education, creative deconsumption through upcycling, and retail innovation strategies. Her pedagogical research explores instructor autonomy in technology adoption and sustainability curriculum development across UK universities.
