Grace Kim is a Lecturer in the Department of Hospitality Administration at the University of Houston's College of Global Hospitality Leadership. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Hospitality Administration while teaching Human Resources Management courses.

Her research focuses on organizational behavior in hospitality settings, with particular emphasis on supervisor support, workplace mistreatment, sexual harassment, and inclusive leadership. These interests stem from her extensive industry experience managing over 200 employees across 15 Smoothie King locations in Houston, where she observed frontline workplace challenges requiring academic exploration.
Kim has presented her work at multiple academic conferences, including the Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality & Tourism (2024, 2025) and the Global ESG Conference (2024). Her operational background includes store turnarounds exceeding $800,000 in same-store sales, pandemic-era management responsibilities, and cross-functional collaboration with franchisees, vendors, and IT teams.
