Jaewook Kim is a faculty member at the University of Houston’s College of Global Hospitality Leadership. Holding a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from Iowa State University, he specializes in hospitality and tourism geography, spatial analysis, casino and gaming management, and entrepreneurship within the sharing economy. His educational background includes a B.B.A. from Sejong University (South Korea) and an M.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston.

- Hospitality and tourism geography with spatial analysis

- Environmental sustainability practices in economy hotels and integrated resorts
- Crisis management in the restaurant industry (e.g., post-COVID-19 adaptation)
