Goutam Roy is an Associate Professor (on study leave) at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and a full-time PhD candidate at Charles Sturt University, Australia. His research focuses on early childhood education, scientific literacy, and STEM education. He holds a Master of Science in Educational Science and Technology from the University of Twente, Netherlands, and multiple degrees from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

- Supervisors: Dr. Shukla Sikder and Associate Professor Will Letts
His research interests include online education, educational assessment, and primary education. He has contributed to projects on play-based STEM learning and policy reviews in early childhood education.
Awarded the Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) International Scholarship and the 2023 HDR Colloquium Certificate of Fellowship. He is a member of the Early Childhood Interdisciplinary Research Group and the Cultural-Historical Research Group at Charles Sturt University.
