Gloria Schuck

Gloria Schuck is an Emeritus Lecturer at MIT, affiliated with the Center for Real Estate, the Sloan School of Management, and the Department of Urban Studies and Planning. With nearly four decades at MIT, she has held roles including Director of Education for the Master’s program and conducted research at the MIT Center for Information Systems Research. Her teaching focuses on leadership development, including courses like “Leadership in the Real Estate Industry.”

Her research emphasizes the impact of information technology on organizational structures, management roles, and learning processes across industries. She has consulted globally for companies in finance, manufacturing, and telecommunications, advising on leadership strategies and organizational innovation. Her educational background includes a Doctorate and Master’s from Harvard University’s School of Education, with additional studies at MIT’s Sloan School and Stanford Business School.

Dr. Schuck’s work extends to executive coaching, specializing in leadership development, strategic decision-making, and organizational change. She has collaborated with governments (e.g., Mexico’s leadership programs) and utility companies to reform regulatory frameworks. Over her career, she supervised over 100 management case studies and designed leadership workshops for global corporations.
