Gloria Morrow is an Associate Professor of Psychology at The Chicago School's College of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles campus. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, DEIB consultant, and workshop facilitator with a focus on curriculum development and multicultural competency training.
Her research emphasizes men's mental health (particularly African American men), the role of spirituality in recovery, and how arts and entertainment influence BIPOC communities' attitudes toward mental health services. She co-developed the California Brief Multicultural Competency Scale (CBMCS) Training Program and its Train-the-Trainer initiative.
Dr. Morrow's publications include a journal article on multicultural competence assessment (2004) and seven books, such as S.A.F.E. (Spirituality and Faith Empowers) (2016). Her work spans clinical psychology, diversity education, and media engagement, with appearances on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox 11.
She serves on multiple boards, including the Peers and Clinicians Collaborative Alliance, and has held leadership roles in organizations like Omega Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Her teaching philosophy prioritizes student diversity, engagement, and adaptive instructional techniques.
