Glenn Routledge

Glenn Routledge is a Lecturer in Law at Manchester Law School, Manchester Metropolitan University. With a background in visual communications and media management, he transitioned to law mid-career, earning an LLB (Hons) and LLM (research). His professional experience spans the voluntary sector including advisory roles at Citizens Advice Bureau and governance positions at a Housing Trust managing 4,500+ homes.

Teaching responsibilities include: Legal Systems and Professional Life, Socio-Legal subjects, EU Law, Family Law, and dissertation supervision. He serves as education leadership REPWOA liaison and Student Law Societies link tutor. Research interests focus on legal design—applying visual communication to legal practice—and equality/LGBTQI issues.

Qualifications: LL.M (Res), LL.B (Hons), PGCert (HE), FHEA. Member of the Higher Education Academy.
