Jonathan McGahan

Jonathan McGahan is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University with extensive experience in criminal and regulatory law. A qualified solicitor, he previously worked as a Senior Crown Prosecutor and at top-tier legal firms like Jones Knowles Wraburton LLP and Pannone LLP. His specialisms include Criminal Law, Evidence, Regulatory Law, and Sports Law.

He teaches Criminal Law, Law of Evidence, and Criminology modules on the LLB degree, and contributes to the GDL and Hong Kong programmes. Academic qualifications include an LLB, LPC, LLM, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He currently leads Year 2 academic administration.
