Associate Professor Glenn Patmore is affiliated with the Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on the legal regulation of democratic participation, international/transnational law, constitutional amendment, and workplace participation. He has authored multiple monographs, books, and peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Melbourne University Law Review and Federal Law Review. His recent work addresses themes like employee voice in democracy and the evolution of democratic rights under international law.
Professor Patmore teaches subjects including Legal Method and Reasoning, Constitutional Law, and Torts. He co-founded the MLS Equality Committee and served as the inaugural Equal Opportunity Liaison Officer for Disability. He also organized the MLS Faculty Research Seminar Series from 2015–2017. His professional affiliations include memberships in the Australian Labour Law Association, Australian Association of Constitutional Law, and the Australian Republican Movement.
He has presented research globally, including at Cambridge University, LSE, and Queen’s University (Canada). His work bridges domestic and comparative law, with interdisciplinary insights into public law and labor rights.
