Dr. Glenda Musoba is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration & Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University since 2012. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Indiana University. Her research focuses on educational policy, student access/success in postsecondary education, particularly for underrepresented groups and rural students. She leads the Higher Education Administration program and has served in various leadership roles including Faculty Advisory Committee Chair and Posse Atlanta mentor.
Dr. Musoba has advised 12 doctoral students at TAMU and 10 prior students. Her research has been funded by Lumina Foundation and Texas A&M Agrilife Extension, focusing on transfer student success and rural college access. She has published 18 peer-reviewed articles and two books, including Using Action Inquiry in Engaged Research. Awards include the 2023 Dr. Yvonna S. Lincoln Distinguished Professor Award.
Teaching spans graduate courses in higher education law, finance, organizational theory, and research methods. She has directed over 20 special studies and internships. Research projects include the Rural Student Success Initiative (2019–2020) and policy work on dual admission programs for transfer students.
