Glen Funkhouser is an Adjunct Professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. A retired Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG), he specializes in teaching media law, constitutional law, and criminal procedure to both graduate and undergraduate students.
- Former law professor at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School at the University of Virginia (2018–2021)
- Prior career as a space operations officer and global legal advisor in the U.S. Air Force
His expertise spans public affairs, media relations, ethics, and national security law. Funkhouser holds a legal background advising military commanders on complex legal matters and currently resides in Central New York with his wife Amy.
