Glen Bergeron is a faculty member at the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology and Applied Health, University of Winnipeg. He earned a BPE (1973), MSc (1978), and PhD (1992) from the University of Manitoba and University of Alberta. Certified as an Athletic Therapist (CATA, 1975), he has participated in global events like the Olympics and World University Games.

His research focuses on Patellofemoral pain, back and neck pain treatment, and acute/post-concussion syndrome, with a 2017 role as Medical Lead for the Canada Summer Games. Current affiliations include the Manitoba Adult Concussion Network and the Canadian Council of Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA).
Recent publications span concussion assessment, injury epidemiology, and athletic therapy education, reflecting his international collaborations. He also serves as Past-President of the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy (WFATT).
