Gizeh Perez-Tenorio

Gizeh Perez-Tenorio is a Docent and Principal Research Engineer at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV) and the Division of Surgery, Orthopedics and Oncology. She also serves as a Project Manager at the Commissioned Education Office, fostering collaborations between healthcare regions and educational institutions. Her primary research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying late recurrence of ER+ breast cancer, including PIK3CA mutations, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), and tumor dormancy.

As an educational developer at Didacticum and board member of Swednet, she emphasizes lifelong learning in healthcare education.
