Giuseppe Torre is an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick's Department of Computer Science & Information Systems and a member of the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre. His work bridges digital art, philosophy, and technology, focusing on critical inquiry into the ethical and ontological dimensions of digital creativity. He advocates for Free/Libre Open-Source Software (FLOSS) as a methodology resisting technological commodification.
