Giuseppe Pezzini is an Associate Professor of Latin Language and Literature at the University of Oxford and Fellow and Tutor at Corpus Christi College. He holds an MA and DPhil from Oxford and degrees from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa. His research focuses on Early Latin (3rd–1st c. BC), with special attention to Roman theatre, ancient metre, and textual criticism. He has edited Terence's Heautontimorumenos and is completing a commentary on Lucretius' De Rerum Natura Book IV. His interdisciplinary work bridges classical philology with modern literature, including a monograph on Tolkien's imagination (CUP 2025).
